Patch 2.0 | 1.21.6 Upgrade & World generation & Economy
22 October 2025
Welcome to THE PHASE 2.0!
While we stayed silent for quite a while now, we have been working on the server. Therefore we are pleased to bring a massive update to you.
1.21.6 Update
A big part of the update is mostly getting the server to properly run on 1.21.6. The update means the following changes:
- All vanilla features up to 1.21.6
- The economy system was overhauled and reimplemented. Player balances have been migrated with a ratio of 3:1. Player shops should still be around as chests with their stock.
- The ability to pickup villagers as spawn eggs has been removed due to compatibility issues. We are working on a solution to reimplement similar functionality.
- Player to player trading GUI has been removed due to compatibility issues. We are working on a solution to reimplement similar functionality.
- Due to lack of updated versions or breaking changes some features only partially available and will be reimplemented shortly.
World generation
Since we needed to trim and regenerate the world to new biomes and items from 1.21.2 – 1.21.6, we have decided to spice up the world with several world generation changes.
- Added Tectonic and Terralith for a overhauled overworld generation
- Added Nullscape for enhanced end generation
- All chunks with a Inhabitationtime of less then 3 minutes have been deleted
- The end has been reset apart from the main island and void circle
Unfortunately keeping all chunks that have seen player activity means that there will be abrupt chunk and biome borders, but we think the improvements are worth it.
Economy 2.0
We have not been happy with our previous implementation of economy features for a while now.
Therefore we took the opportunity and totally reimplement economy on the server.
- There is now a balance system connected to virtual player and server shops.
- This economy has both virtual and physical balance. They can be freely exchanged.
- The physical “cash” can be used to buy from craftable shop blocks.
We are still in the process of getting the server shop set-up. A place to sell stuff to “generate” money. At the moment this will be the only way to generate currency.
We are working on a couple ways to integrate currency into loot. Be it in dungeon chests or as mob drops. Stay tuned!

- Updated Geyser setup fixing Bedrock compatablility.
Patch 1.0.2 | Hotfix and rules
9 December 2024 14:55
We have just deployed a small hotfix for some issues that arose over the weekend. Nothing major, just some annoyances.
Due to continuous discussions about rules and administrative actions, we have prioritized finalizing our server rules over the weekend. We have just published them this morning. Please make sure to read the rules. “I didn’t know about that” will not save you from punishment.
- Fixed an issue that would cause homes to disappear
- Added permission support for carpet
- Added new rank, Advanced
- Advanced rank can now use carpets /player commands
- Added system for fake players
- Added and configured administrative tools
- Added links to the server sheet and rules to pause menu → server links and /rules
Patch 1.0.1 | First patch
2 December 2024
So far, everything went smoothly. We have mostly found some missing permissions, wrong configs and cancelled features that found their way into the release files.
1.0.1 is pretty much exclusively clean up and polish. We are working on some improvements and expansion of the economy in the background. That patch, 1.1 is planned for early next week.
- Removed remains of veinserver, a serverside vein miner
- Adjusted permissions for essentials
- Disabled /back (This was not supposed to be enabled)
- Disabled workstation commands ( a.e. /workbench /anvil etc.)
- Adjusted home limit from 1 to the intended 10
- Fixed permissions for flan as players were unable to delete and configure claims
- Adjusted various configs / permissions related to teleport delays / cool downs / limitations
- Improved management systems and increased logging detail
- Adjusted various other configs
Release 1.0 | Launch – Bedrock and polish
30 November 2024
We have just opened the main server at phase.comsicare.com!
We are still missing some fine tune, but the core features are working, like Bedrock support that we finally got working.
We will follow this up with a small patch soon to finalize the polish.
The implementation of valuable / rare loot / vouchers or similar had to be temporarily removed due to a bug in the mod we were using for its implementation.
All dimensions have been pregenerated in a certain area to reduce the performance impact of exploration. The world border remains unchanged.
- Added Bedrock support via Geyser and ViaVersion/ViaFabric
- As a side effect of Bedrock support via ViaVersion, added Support for client versions higher than 1.21.1
- Adjusted shop
- Adjusted configuration for flan
- Removed rare / valuable mob drops for now
- Swapped Warp Utils for Essentials for the lack of permission integration with Warp Utils
- Pregenerated overworld from -10.000 to 10.000 in both directions
- Pregenerated nether and end from -5000 to 5000 in both directions
- Adjusted Backup schedule due to large map size to reduce performance impacts of backups
Beta 1.0 | Beta and balance
21 November 2024 15:11
We have just opened our stage server! You can find more about our stage server here. With that, we have finally moved into the final stages of release. Pretty much the only thing that is left, is to fine tune and to balance our the economy.
We are inching closer to release every day! With your help for testing on our stage server, we are confident we can make it.
We are continuing our effort of creating an economy that is not dominated by mindless automatic farms and grinding. Therefor we are testing and adjusting prices continuously to work towards our goal, make exploration worth it. Rare collectables found while exploring should bring at least as much monetary return as a farm could do in the same time.
We have also decided to further reduce the selection of sellable items, which can be gathered automatically. This was actually harder than we though now that we have access to the crafter in the newest versions. The crafter has greatly increased the amount of items that can be farmed quite easily.
We have also done some stuff in the background to further improve performance.
- Revisited random rare loot drops system and changed the implementation to voucher like items that are universal for all mobs due to some technical limitations
- Re balanced drop chances for the new voucher items
- Decreased drop chance to 0 for several mobs due to easy farmes, for example Endermen, Pigmen etc.
- Experimental implementation of a system that only allows for vouchers to drop when a mob was actually killed by a player
- Increased selection of sellable items
- Re balanced item pricing, reduced sell price for farmable items even further, increased / added prices for some rare collectables
- Adjusted available threads for c2me and bluemap to find a better balance improving overall performance when exploring new chunks
- Minor config adjustments for various management mods
- Configured the permission and progression based group system to match the content available on the stage server
Prerelease 0.4 | I am the map + Economy
12 November 2024 21:45
We have always been a fan of webmaps. So we got one ourselves.
Furthermore we have revisited our economy. While we don’t want a complicated economy, the previous system was a little too bare bones. So we did some tweaks to that greatly increasing the number of ways to earn money.
One of those ways is rare loot. Mobs and loot chests will now drop/contain rare version of items from their loot table. These will come in various rarities and can be sold in the shop. Dependent of the rarity their value can be quite substantial.
We have introduced this to make sure that players will always have some form of “passive” income as long as they are not literally AFK.
Mobs that can be mass farmed via a mobfarm or spawner have greatly reduced dropchances for rare loot or no rare drops at all. We want this to be a nice bonus for exploring and day to day existing, not a farmable money method.
- Revised selection of sellable items
- Added 5 rarities for items
- Added rare varieties of loot and drops with greatly increased sell value
- Added Bluemap + configuration | Available at phase.comsicare.com
Prerelease 0.3 | Refining the experience
11 November 2024 20:21
Since PVP is not a big focus point of this project, we wanted to address some common annoyances of multiplayer vanilla and improve the overall experience.
One of these things is villagers. Villagers are great and arguably pretty overpowered if used right. But they can be a pain for the player and an even bigger pain for the server. Villagers are super inefficient and need so much performance.
Therefore we have started work on a Datapack that improves villager performance and makes it much easier to manage them.
- Added I_Have_Slept to combat phantom spam on multiplayer servers
- Added Graves to secure your items from the environment and other players
- Added fast leave decay
- Adjusted some stack sizes
- Added custom villager Datapack
- Added some administration mods
- Added some Carpet-Addons
Prerelease 0.2 | Economy
10 November 2024 21:21
An economy is one of the features we want to add besides the vanilla experience. Since 1.21.1 is still a pretty new version in the context of mod support, our options for economy/market/shop based mods are limited.
We have tried a bunch of options of combinations but ultimately decided to stick with a basic virtual economy and shop/auction system provided by the Servershops mod. We have explored a item/trade based economy with Universal Shops in combination with BlanketEconomy, but felt that it was just too cumbersome to actually do business.
We have not ruled out the idea of doing something with that concept in the future. Maybe as part of an event or “premium” currency earned as a prize.
The admin configured shop only contains item to sell so far. You cannot actually buy something. Our current concept goes more towards giving an option to earn money and mostly buy stuff via auction from other players.
Additionally we have added some more traditional multiplayer features like /trade and more.
- Added Servershops + configuration
- Added Trade (Literally the mods name)
- Configured player list to show some useful information and reflect roles
- Created a config for WarpUtils
- Added server support for AppleSkin and Journeymap by adding their server side variants
Prerelease 0.1 | Test Server launch
9 November 2024 18:51
We have just entered our initial testing and development phase. The goal is to act on our concept and get our planned features to work.
Currently the server is not yet publicly accessible. You can find more information about the test-server in its post.
First we want to start by building a solid foundation with a stable and performant multiplayer server with basic features. For that we have setup the server with a selection of performance oriented mods based on Fabric;
- C2me
- Chunky
- Clumps
- Carpet
- Ferrit-Core
- Ksyxis
- LBG
- Luckperms
- ModernFix
- Polymer
- Spark
- WarpUtils
